Today, orthopedic boots or insoles are not used in flat foot treatment. Studies have shown that improvement is as high as 95% in children both using such orthopedic or no treatment by the age of 10. Instead of orthopedic shoe years, children with flexible flat foot are recommended to walk with bare feet at home.

Orthopedic boots or orthopedic insoles; does not contribute to the development of the child’s foot or the improvement of the flat footedness. However, if the child has pain, rapid fatigue in activity, orthopedic boots or soles can be used for support.
